I am Shachi Srivastava, hailing from a country so beautiful and rich in traditions, India. I am a self taught artist, and I am very passionate about creating art and painting. I have taken challenges where I have made paintings everyday for consecutive 2 months at a stretch without fail. Currently living in a world of my dreams and trying to learn each day from my own mistakes. I love to learn new art forms and styles. My heart and soul belongs to my country India and I make art mostly that is deeply rooted from India. I love Colors; all sorts of colors; the beautiful colors of life symbolising the emotions and sentiments of our world. Every painting I make is a depiction of Love for Life!!Painting is my way of expressing the way I feel and I see this World - and thats just beautiful! I love simplicity. I have also worked on collaborations with other artists and enjoyed creating with them. I love writing as well, I have written few poetry. My inspirations are from Day to Day life and mostly Love and Life.I have used various art styles in my work: Madhubani, Warli, Zentangle and various mediums like oil, Acrylic, Pen/Sharpie, Sponge, Knives. I am learning each day something new and enhancing my skills to create as much beauty in our worlds as I can.
